Mono/Loco

Mono/Loco is a showcase for the deep and driving house sound of veteran producer, DJ, promoter and label boss Chris Reed. His first EP was a white label sold from the back of his car. A string of subsequent singles, included a release on legendary Belgian label R&S. After moving to New Zealand almost 25 years ago, he was part of the crew behind the infamous Mum’s The Word parties. On meeting Paul Radley he produced house and nu-disco as Reed & Radley and Monkey Boots respectively. During a 20-year collaboration the pair released on Nottingham’s influential DiY Discs and NZ’s groundbreaking Reliable Recordings before signing to Auckland’s Grass Green.
