Section 63

Better known as Blade from The Sect,Section 63 was drawn to the breakbeat hardcore emanating from London’s pirate radio stations in the early ‘90s, collecting records and tape packs for events he was still too young to attend. By the end of the decade, he had released various hardcore records under the alias Blade, but was undoubtedly a Drum & Bass head, DJing on several pirate radio stations and working at DnB specialists Tripp2 Records and was resident at the legendary Paradox parties. Joining forces with Virtua and fellow Paradox resident Method to form The Sect, the trio’s first release was on DJ Red’s Distance Recordings in 2003.
